It's official. My Casio Exilim z1200 is gone.
How very timely. It started showing symptoms on New Year's day, exactly one day after its One Year Warranty coverage. We sent it to the Casio Service Center in SM South Mall and after a grueling one month, it was given back to us and we were told that the motherboard (or whatever you call it) crashed. So the camera's basically brain-dead.
The cost of the motherboard plus the repair would equate to the price of some other point and shoot cameras out in the market today. So for practicality's sake, we're not gonna go through the operation and hopefully, I'd be able to buy another camera sometime next month.
Any suggestions? (Point and shoot cameras only, with quality video capturing capability. We'll hopefully get a dslr come third quarter of the year.)
Sigh.
You served me well, E. Rest in peace. Or in you box under my bed.
