Now That's A Weekend.

Oh yeah.

Finally, a productive weekend. Y'all know very well how my weekends usually become occupied with dance rehearsals/trainings or other school-related things, right? Well these past couple of days were exemptions, to say the least.

First things first, notice the new look of the page? I did this new layout and header because I got bored with the old look of this page. This page now sports my favorite colors. Brazil. You can say that again. Haha!

I finally had time to watch DVDs, just like any other adolescent/young adult out there. I watched SAW 1, 2, 3, and 4, in preparation of the upcoming SAW 5. I, together with my cousins, watched (for the nth time) A Very Special Love and One More Chance. Also, I finished the entire first season of the series CHUCK, which I found amazing, in a geeky kind of way. Haha. I bought Season 5 of One Tree Hill. Too bad we'll be busy with rehearsals this week, plus, the second semester starts on Wednesday already (which reminds me, I still have to look for and enlist under one more subject. Stress.).

I also managed to finish Haruki Murakami's Dance Dance Dance, which is a good thing because I can now re-read his Kafka on the Shore which to me is a bit confusing. Haha. Haruki Murakami's great and all, but reading his works requires a lot of patience. Haha. I also went OC and wrapped all my novels with plastic cover so as to protect them and prevent further distruction of the covers. Things people do when bored. Haha.

Anyways, I'm quite satisfied with the near-ending sem break. I've accomplished a lot and mind you, went through a lot too. Good or bad, they're all experiences, and all of them are worth keeping (I guess. I hope. Haha).

I've officially ran out of things to write. Or maybe I'm just being lazy. Whatever.

Oh well, you guys better watch Skechers on the 23rd!

I Know I Have A Point.

No, this post ain't serious. I found myself blurting out (more like typing) stuff I am now finding funny. Haha. One's me being mysterious, while the other's me bein' emotive. Like there's something new there. Yeah. Both statements have strong points, though. Well, at least for me. Haha.

Exhibit A.

I Guess I'll Just Charge All Of It To Experience.

A lot has been happening lately and the mere thought of writing them all here is strenuous. I'm disappointed, distracted, confused, and wrecked as of typing this. I need the "pause", or better yet, the "reset" button for my life program.

But then again, tomorrow's a new day. Maybe I can start then.

Yeah.

Exactly.

Exactly one year ago, we were on our van driving home from my first competition, RX Rhythm and Street Year 6, which was held at the Decagon, in Silver City. It amazes me how time really flies. I can still remember vividly the day I auditioned (half-heartedly) for the UPLB Street Jazz Dance Co., and look at me now, I'm now considered as a senior member of not only the Competing Team, but also of the whole Clan. It's weird how that one year gave me so much memories and experiences which in one way or another, made me a better individual, not only on the dance floor, but also on a "normal" basis. Haha. I don't regret anything, except maybe for letting my academics take a back seat whenever we have gigs and compets, but still, all in all, the past year was quite a good run.

Exactly one day from now, it'll be my Mum's 50th birthday. I'm excited for my mom, because I believe God has much, much more plans for my Mum (including the part where my Mum would not be so afraid of riding airplanes anymore, thus, world tour, here we come). Haha. Only one problem though, I still don't have a gift for her. It should be special, really, because it's her time for the big five ow. Argh. Think, think.

Exactly one hour ago, I started this entry. An hour has passed and I believe this entry's end should come now. I have nothing to write anymore. I've ben pulling all-nighters since last week and I believe the stress is busting all of my neurons out.

I need sleep.

Minsan Lang 'to.

Hoy RJ, 14 years old ka na.

Haha.

How time flies talaga. Haha. Here's to more inuman!

(Ang bobo ng entry ko. Sorry na.)

Unfinished Business. Lots of them.

I'm currently reading three books, of course not all at the same time. I wish sem break would come a lot faster because not finishing a book makes me fell like I'm unintelligent or something, even though I put the real blame mostly on my laziness and heavy workload, still, I hate the feeling of not being able to finish something I've started.

Nonsensical post brought to you by yours truly.

Worth It.

Sulit na sulit.

Exactly the three words that's been resonating in my mind since I got home a couple of hours ago. I've tickets to Sponge Cola's gig in Java Avenue but after rehearsals, I went home instead. I figured I wouldn't be able to enjoy it fully because if ever I decide to go, I'd have to be home by 1:00AM, and no, it ain't because of curfew or anything. See, I have this big problem called waking up at 5:30AM for a 7:00AM "you're absent if you come in late" kind of class. And unfortunately, I've maximized/used up ALL POSSIBLE absences for that subject, and I've no intentions to flunk just because of excessive unexcused absences. Haha.

I wonder if she went. Hmmm.

Anyway, mum gave me the surprise of my life (o.a) when I came home and found not 1, but (insert number here. clue: between 2-10) pints of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Gawd. Funny, 'cause I came across someone's Multiply and saw Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream in one of his posts, which got me really craving for it. Mum and I were talking on the phone early this morning and I told her about it. She actually missed Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream herself so she decided to take a break and go to Alabang to get some. Rustan's Supermarket in ATC is the nearest grocery which carry Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream products, I think. And voila, Ben & Jerry's resting comfortably in our chiller. Not for long though. Haha.

(Yihee, creative shots. Taken with Casio Exilim Z1200)

And yes, sulit na sulit ang hindi ko pag-nuod ng Sponge Cola gig dahil sa Ben & Jerry's, and quality ice cream time with my family. Yihee, cheesy.

Ang mature ng entry ko. Haha.
